This oil is specifically formulated for the heavy duty inboard marine market, including cruisers and towboats calling for a 15W-40.
• Meets API Service classification up to CK-4.
• Meets the performance specifications for API service
classification SM.
• Premium base stocks and additive package ingredients places Sierra
Heavy Duty at the leading edge of lubrication technology.
• Suitable for fuels on any sulfur level
• Not for use in gasoline engines equipped with catalytic converters.

o Enhanced detergent package to suspend and prevent sludge.
o Reduces friction to maintain high performance
o Prevents thermal and oxidation break down under extreme temperatures o High shear stability maintains viscosity to prevent excessive thinning in high
performance applications
o Advanced ZDDP additive technology prevents phosphorus depletion
extending catalyst life while maintaining anti-wear protections.
